    Hello bros,

Any idea what fish this is? I recently bought it from qianhu and also noticed that the number of small fishes like boraras in my tank is decreasing. I wonder if it's canivorous?

Their common name is Giant Snakehead. They are aggressive and predatory.

They feed on meaty food and I hope you realise they can grow up to 60inches/152.4cm

They are what we eat after we go for operation I think. When they grow bigger, they become white with black bars. I used to catch them at the pond near my place.

Oh my, thats a baby toman. You shouldn't have bought it, many people buy them, thinking they look cute, then release them into drains or rivers when the toman grows up.

The fry are often sold as feeders. Any fish that can fit into its mouth will eventually end up there.

Very predatory, I recommend that you remove them if you still want the boraras. These are micropeltes, they look super nice when adult, purple green highlights, but too big. Those with black stripes are striata and they are sold as feeders.
