frogbits are for freshwater system. if you need something to take up the excess nitrate, you need a denitrator for your saltwater tank.

Chaetomorpha Algae and Mangrove plants are what marine aquarists use for nitrate export, along with algae screens.
I've tried frogbits in a brackish tank (SG 1.010 - 1.015) they didn't survive.
