tripod you have use?
Need some tips for night shots
Hi Folks;
I've had my S5is for about 6 mos. and i've really struggled taking night shots,specifically moon shots. I've tried every possible setting,iso,mode etc. with disappointing results. Because we are in the midst of a near full moon I thought I would try again. Could anyone offer any pointers on taking better night shots? thanks.

tripod you have use?
a digicam is not the best tool for taking long exposure and low light shots. the sensor is too noisy.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

that is a digicam? then will be difficult as they are not build for such.
Canon S5IS is a prosumer range of digital camera with powerful video capability. I'm having the same camera, but too bad I had never tried to take any moon shot.
BTW... I think Clubsnap is a more suitable place for you to do research on this camera...
