    yes. no green water in my tank ever.

    hopefully reduces pathogens in tank as well.

    i dunno about the NEED for it lah
    to me it's just another high tech toy which more often than not is used as a last ditch method to fight off algae
    i don't recommend it as a mainstay of tank maintenance
    there's nothing you can solve with proper tankhusbandry techniques that uv can settle
    so.. if you like to see quick fixes, it's worth a shot, but other than that, i would say no
