    Guys

    I have problems of riccia keep coming loose from the mesh and not growing much.

    pH=6.9/kH=5
    Light = 115W
    Tank = 3ft tank, ~150 liter
    Fertilisation: Sera Florena 30mL/weekly after 20% water change.

    I tied Riccia Fluitans to a stainess steel mesh (about 6mm x 6mm square) with fishing nylon line. The fishing line is also tied across vertically and horizontally at about 6mm x6m iespaced according to the squares of the grill.

    I have about 20 neons, 2 small angel fish, 4 guppies, 5 Otos, 1 CAE and many many shrimps.

    normally for riccia i use another(something like fish net)to tie over the wiremesh........one more thing if u want to see bubble make sure there is no strong current in the tank and there must be enough co2

    i think the main reasons for riccia not doing well are nutrients (co2, liquid fert) and lighting
    to keep it down, yes, use netting
    any kind of metal mesh can be used to weight it down, provided the mesh doesn't rust

    another problem with riccia growing too well is that it'll start to rot at the bottom and float
    you can avoid this by constant trimming
    or you can just screw it all and renet it after it floats []

    I use tank/regulator Co2 to achieve H=6.9/kH=5

    I use Sera Florena as described, maybe not enough?

    I will try to use the netting. Actually those nettings are "hair netting" used by ladies to create a bun. Over here in Taiwan, each is about 5NT ~ 50cents?

    My "anubias" like plant is also yellowing. sorry don't know the name as I still could not find something similar on the plant website- maybe poor eyesight

    Thanks
