Hi just took some photos of my 2ft after some trimming. Somehow doesnt look right at all. Anyone has suggestions? Is it the messy sagittaria and cyperus? WHat if I removed them totally?

ANyway, has the recent hot weather been affecting your tanks?
Algae seems to be on the increase in my tank.

    Hey Davidd

I think your tank looks pretty good[:] ....

Yup and the hot weather is affecting my tanks as well...I have just increase the number of AC fans to cool the tank.

Hi Davidd nice tank you got. Was wondering how you did the over-hanging moss in your December 2002 tank? Don't see anything that is holding it up or growing on... unless i didn't see clearly...
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

Nice tanks, esp the dec. tank.
Light: I think the moss grew on the wood, and the fronds started getting longer and longer and it just droops downwards

    Hi all,
    THanks for your compliments.
yah I sort of missed the better growing xmas moss in my december '00 tank (yes that long ago); was never able to reproduce that effect again maybe time to get more moss?

Lighthammer, I had a long piece of driftwood propped against the right corner of the front glass. THe end was flat so I placed the xmas moss there for it to cascade down. Got the inspiration from Mr Mark Pan from the plantnutx mailing list who kindly gave me the moss.

Hey DEA, sadly I don't produce bucketfuls of moss anymore. wonder whats wrong. Recently they've been picking up (could be the PF7's work) but never at the rate of yesteryear.

So really looking for some xmas moss
