Go to the back of World Farm, or ask the people there to drive you in there in the buggy. Just tell them you looking for pond plants. If you like something that is in the pond, they can also repot for you by request.

manage to find the operating hrs
Personally, I prefer to walk around so I can snoop into every corner at my own time. But when you unearth a pot of treasure and you must carry it all the way back to the front in the wilting heat and humidity... it's no fun. But if you leave that treasure to one side, to call the workers to come pick it up, you might just lose your treasure to another eagle-eyed shopper! So we'd work in pairs. One of us would stand and watch over our shopping while the other one go up front to hail a buggy. Another minor disadvantage is not knowing the price, name and growing needs of a plant that appeals to your eye, which the buggy driver will be able to explain if he were there.
Besides plants, they also sell all sorts of earth and soil amendments, cheap rock and driftwood and fertilisers and pots.
I don't think they open on Sundays.

yes they do , I mean open on Sunday. But do check their opening hours, most of my trips to world farm happens on Sunday.
Also remember to check the plants for pest. WF's plants do sometimes have pest infection
World Farm opens on Sun from 9am to 1pm... Can look for ah Guan as he's quite well known in another Plant Forum
You can target Hydrophonic farms if need be. Area around Ban Soon Pah Rd. and Qianhu, both have hydrophonic farms around.

Right.
Ban Soon Pah Rd.
2 x Hydrophonic Farms there. This road is accessible via Khatib MRT, just walk in all the way until you see the small road at the end of the left side. RT personnel may know this road...heh.

I will leave the rest of the search to yourself since you would be able to search easily via the above website. Have fun!
thanks to all the advices. managed to find 2 types of plants, total 5 pots from World Farm. they have very friendly staff
>"< wonder what you get....got receipt to say the plant type?
the receipt did says, but not with me. will try to find when i get home.
both whole pot submerge under water. one of it has those star like flower with longer stems above water(around 1-2 feet). the other 1 has leaves that looks like lotus leaf, but is around 2-3 cm big (leaves). the just will be just above water level.
Likely you've bought lily and lotus plants.
Alternatively you could buy those $1 Amazon swords from the LFS and repot them with some root fertilizers, they will usually flower when grown emersed. Pennyworts are worth trying too.
Koi farms also grow pandan in their sump filters so you can look at those as well.

Suckerfish no eat poo poo.
definitely not lily and lotus plants. staff from World Farm commented that my mini pond is not deep enough to house them.
I think one of them is star glass. i remember there is a star something on the common name, the scientific name too long, cannot remember. need to go home dig receipt.
Fu2 Ping2 is it? 浮萍。
Heteranthera zosterifolia? or Cyperus helferi?
