Dymax T5NO 4x21watts Specification?

Hello all,

I am new to this forum and would like to know if the fellows here know the specification of this Dymax T5NO 4x21watts lighting fixture as I have ask and email the company's website twice and still get no response at all (beginning to doubt the company's credibility). Since the manufacturer company is based on Singapore, I'm hoping that I will at least obtain the info here by expecting there is much more Dymax's user here?

I bought this lighting about 6 months ago and I can't find the bulbs spec (eg. color temp, lumens etc) in the packaging box or at the company website and the shopkeeper also seems to don't have this information.

You should be able to tell the specs from the model number and markings on the tube itself.

Its usually unrelated to the fixture.


Or you can give Biotope or NA a call, either or both should know.

Just my guess, this is a 36" T5 21W standard/normal output light. Should not be diffcult to find it in DIY or hardware shop. You can choose the 6500K colour temperature (Cool White). Specification wise not be too far out from your original Dymax tube.

There's no markings at all from the tube itself except "Dymax Tropical 21 watt" and I live in Indonesia, it will be costly to contact Biotope or NA. Thank you.

if you are using the light for plants, a colour temperature of around 6500k would be appropriate. you need not worry too much about lumens output as the lumens output difference will not be too far off when comparing tubes of the same wattage. unless you are comparing 'normal output' with 'high output'.
