How much does a 2l CO2 cylinder cost, what brand and where to get? How long can it last for 2l only? If just buy a 2l CO2 cylinder, confirm need to get regulator, solenoid or bubble counter etc?

A 2L CO2 cylinder set consisting of tank and regulator is around $100 to $140. And getting cheaper nowadays. Or you can buy 2nd hand ones.
Lots of LFS have them, but you can try Nature Aquarium or Clementi Blk 328.
How long it last depend on how fast is your bubbling rate. I once got a 2nd hand tank with some CO2 inside and still last me more than 6 months at a rate of 1 bubble in 2~3 sec.
Solenoid is optional because it is expensive, can buy you another CO2 cylinder.
    Bubble counter -- yes, needed.

BTW - moving this discussion to Equipment.

a regulator/pressure reducer is used to reduce the tank pressure to the working pressure. normally tank pressure is about 900+psi while working pressure will be below 20psi.

a solenoid is an electrical flow switch and is used to switch off co2 supply when not required. this is normally done automatically with the help of a timer.

a neddle valve is a flow control valve. this will help you in achieving your desire bps.
