    Hi fellas

Need clarification (after reading so many articles on the abv). Given dat my current KH is ~3 & pH ~6.4, if i were to raise both, I can do it via addition of sodium bicarbonate? This is with the assumption dat my current CO2 supply stays (~1 bubble per sec). Mine's just a 2ft tank, btw.

Or shld i do anything at all? All inhabitants of the tank seem to be doing fine...

    Thx.

    Nizz

    no need to adjust anything
kh 3 ph 6.4 is about there
and yes, if you were to want to raise the pH via raising the kH, adding nahco3 will do

    nizz,

kH at 3 is not really considered soft. I too suggest you don't adjust you parameter (not perimeter... lol). Leave it as it is.

nizz, just beware of pH crash if your kH drops below 3.
