    Hey mod in charge.

I regret that i had left my Sony camera in Colombo office, will not be able to receive my camera until next Tuesday.

Look like I'll attend the workshop without any camera..

Please advice, if anybody willing to let me try your camera for practical within the workshop.
    cheers

    Re: Aquarium Photography Workshop 2010

Hi people. Thought for the event: It was a wonderful & informative workshop though I wonder how much I could absorb. The organizers were friendly and Benny was a good & humorous speaker. Though the event was held in a kitchen, I think it was the perfect environment! Practical yet cosy enough. Best part, I got a power filter At least to say, this hobby just gotten me some luck! Now that ADA tank is kinda tempting....

4 - Using 2 flash, diffused with paper from top of tank

5 - Diffused lighting without backing

6 - Diffused lighting from the top with one fill in flash on the left side

7 - Finally with the hair dryer.

All tank shots are under exposed, gotta use curves to bring out the contrast.

    Re: Aquarium Photography Workshop 2010

Using the last picture, i used the level and brightness and contrast. Also, did a crop of it, so that left and right do not show the lines.

When doing photography for tanks, must ensure that the reflection, and the light source, how to make the light source bring out the 3D effect for it.

    Re: Aquarium Photography Workshop 2010

You have overly used the level and brightness and contrast, the right front leaves, rocks and the center leaves are too whitish and too contrast, you often do that to your photos? Normally we dont use brightness and contrast too much, it will cause the effect you have created.

How about like this? You can see most parts in detail.
