It maybe better to invest in a professional series. Do consider the 2026 but if budget is the limiting factor, 2224 would be able to do the job.

Ok. But what about if I had no choice but to settle for Classic?

Is the Classic range those with round green clear canister? If they are, they have some limitations. No priming and shutting valves for filter maintenance. However it will still work provide if you can live with some of the inconveniences.

    I have a 100 galon 5x1.6x1.6 tank and eheim 2217.
Water is crystal clear 20% water change weekly.
For you tank 2215 would be the best choice.
-Goeffrey the clasic filters coms wheve double shot of valves, foam, carbon and fine filter pads.

IMO classic filters are the best . they may look out of mode but they have proven to be a work horse as far as filters are concerned. however you will have to invest in the cock valves . this will set you back by a few $$$ but it wiil serve you in the long term . you can try getting it from petmart. cheers .

Zahad, I did read in the catalogue that the valve is optional. Seems like u got a better deal compared to singapore. Haha didnt know u live in Poland.[]

It will be cheaper buying as a set. I agreed one must get a pair of valve for easy and proper maintanence. Because I have been using them for years.

If I not wrong, the big valve cost abt 30 plus n the smaller one cost abt 15-18 dollars. BTW anybody noe where to get the best deal for the valve? Mayb can list the price n the place to buy.(the detachable or quick release type) Thanks !
