Hi David,
About those KH tester. How to test hah? I follow the instruction but always after 2 drop the colour already changed to slight yellow and the 3 drop will change the water to darker orange. Does it means my KH is 3?
can my ricca survive at a water temp of 30 degreesC????
my moss r turning brown, think it's due to the high water temp.
so any plants which can survive at a water temp of 30degreesC to recommed???
Hi KC
If after 2 drops and the water change to yellow, it means that your KH is 2 and not 3. It may be good to raise it.
Hi Bslong
30C is abit too high for riccia and you need to find a way to lower your water temp. Even certain species of Echinodorus have a problem at 30C. How big a tank are we looking at and how high is your light hood from the water line. Do you have an AC fan?

ideal is subjective to what plants you want to keep.
my ideal I think (ie: grows the most variety with greater ease) :
26 C
PH 6.0
KH 3
