You shouldn't remove the papa as he will take care of the fries. Unless he is showing sign of eating the fries. Or u can go arofanatics to look for all the shifu there.

well, the usual practice is that you remove the mum after all the eggs in spawned and remove the papa after the fries are free swimming. But now it seems tat some of the brothers at arofanatics have tried leaving the papa inside and the fries aren't hurt.

But i would rather do it the usual way to be sure
    Feed them BBS or microworms

reason why i remove both of them I tought the papa was eating some of them already. I place bouth of them in another container and notice that the papa building ness again wow! VERY PRODUCTIVE [:0]

Well, liquid food ain't good for betta fries. Its not filling. Get Daphnia, hatch BBS or microworms

I normally remove dad when they're free swimming. Earlier if I find that he's eating eggs. I'm getting quite good results from artificial hatching nowadays.

Some dads turn fry eaters. Some dads don't eat at all and gets weak and might fall sick. Worse thing is that they might still release waste into the fry tank and you'd be forced to do water changes early and that's not good for the frys

You can throw away interpet liquifry. Doesn't feed the frys but will cloud your water. Live daphnia and baby brine shrimp is best
