not bad, can post the tank spec? Interestingly your java fern leaf does not grow pointing to the front, did you selectively trim it?

wow, 2x36 PL over 2ft low tech tank. Most would consider that high wattage.

Mind sharing your fertilisation regime too? And water change? You must be doing something very right!

    Nice pleasing scape there.

Re: Sharing my 2ft planted tank

That is not very high watts actually, is just nice. I'm using 96W on 2ft tank. I've even try 120w on 1.5ft tank.

Btw that's a good scape you have achieved there. Regular trimming will stimulate new growth of your plant, it will get better and nicer as it goes.

3/4 water change once a week. Then add 4ml LUSHGro-Aqua and Oceanfree Crystal clear after that.

    Thanks for the comments!

ahh... there's CO2. That's what missing from the equation when you mentioned it was low tech.

Whatever it is, its a pleasing scape.

Oh ok, maybe low tech to me because my tank used to look like this..
It was quite a headache. Had to trim once a week, if during busy period, plants overgrow, block light, fishes die.. happened twice already..

Hockie, you sure have some green fingers there!

    Nice lush growth.

Anyway don't think we meant any ill, just wanted to further our knowledge in keeping aquatic plants green and lush like yours, especially when you mentioned low tech which usually means without co2. Well, it got me curious.

But no matter. Both pictures look good.

Hey thanks! Ya, the last time, it was the PL light problem.
Next time don't buy brand-less PL light tubes. Not enough light, even though it looks bright, plants dying..

Nice! If not for the fish, I'd think it was a 3ft at least.
