the previous picture shows the B. maculatus, here is the Brigitte's rasbora or B. brigittae:

    Boraras brigittae – Brigitte's rasbora ~ 1-2cm

Biotope has a recent release and these are from Pangkalabun in Central Kalimantan province of Indonesia. Not many left, a friend and I took 20 yesterday. If you want you have to cheong quickly. Sometimes available at Ben Tiong Bahru and Choong Sua (Beauty World Plaza).

Sometimes Biotope also has the B. merah, all three look quite similar and makes a great community.

    Boraras merah ~ 1-2cm

too bad, apparently the B. brigittae end of season liao. The B. brigittae is more gorgeous but the B. maculata also not too bad and a lot cheaper!

given the B. maculata came from P. Bintan, don't see why there should be a "season", I mean there's no flooding or whatever that cause the fishes to be hard to catch right!?

But i heard that SG can catch leh but no much.
but better not lor cos it will upset the ecosystem.

If there is no season, then it is more likely that Biotope will bring in some more shipment when he take order of the SEA fishes.

Maybe u can try choong sua. Think they oso carry Maculata

Btw did u see the "Kok" Tao fish @ Biotope??

Hey Choy i spotted some Boraras brigittae in Sam yick, pet safari. But the price is very attractive also for such small fish. I saw pipe fish also, very cute but again quite expensive compare to the price in biotope
