    hi all. i would like to know if anybody is growing moss in room temp? around 26-28C (with the help of fan of course ) please share your experience

    26-28 is good. no problem. give them good light they will show true color.

    They can grow at the temperature you mention. It just normally moss grow fatter in colder water.

    thanks bros. but the growth will be slower compared to cooler waters right? anybody tried mini taiwan moss in 28C temp?

    I do not think it will grow slower, my experience I can't see the different. In-fact theoretically it grow faster, since metabolism is faster in warmer temperature.

    My moss always melt to nothing.... dun know why.... too hot? I really frustrated with moss lol.

    boss.. my tank temp sky rocket to 29-30 even with fan these few days. the moss are still okay for now though, should i remove the fan?

    bro what moss you keeping? i had my moss melt to nothing before but that was when my lighting was way too low for them

    Java moss and a moss free from fellow forumer... cannot remember the name.

    My tank is near the window for Morning sun. But now i place a tracing paper behind so as not too stong sunlight get thru'. Nanas is the best. My Java Ferns are springing new shoots from the leafs. very strange. every leaf seems to have a shoot with root attached to it.

    The java moss should be ok. All your plant are quite hardy so it should be ok. You might want to trim those leaf with new shoot. It is normal, that how the fern propagate.
