    Yest i tried using organics yeast which i bought at supermarket..
    thought will work like the normal yeast but it does not work....

    any ppl got use organics yeast b4?

    Never tried that before. I used Bake King Instant Yeast last time for my DIY CO2. I store them in the refrigerator so it last longer.

    You want to get brewers yeast. I set up my yeast reactors last year and have not added new yeast. Every 2 weeks I change about 80% of the "brew" in the reactor. I use two bottles together. 1 bottle is changed each week.

    I dissolve 10 table spoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of marmite (vegemite, essentially yeast extract) and dissolve in to one cup of hot water and then cool this down to room temperature. This I pour into the now nearly empty bottle with the yeast sludge at the bottom. I top up to about 1 L.

    Over time one will breed a strain of yeast that is more suited to yeast reactor culture which can stand a higher alcohol level than the normal brewers or bakers yeast.
