Your best bet is to call Keong Seong if not perhaps the JBL website?
Hi
Just bought the a/m kit for my planted tank. Does anyone have any experience with it. The instructions given are not very clear.
here are my questions:
1. Are u supposed to shake the bottle after mixing the components?
2. Is it supposed to last for 45 days without adding any of component 2 (the silver satchet)?
3. Am I supposed to shake the bottle every 2-3 days as suggested for DIY CO2?
4. Should i attach the other end to a diffuser or is an air-stone more than sufficient?
Thanks 4 any advice!

The title below my name does not make me a guru...listen at your own risk!...
Have checked the JBL website but no useful info. Anyone else?
this thing is just a yeast + sodium bicarbonate(stabiliser) + sugar CO2 generator.
you'll be better off learning all the various formulations for diy co2 and the science behind it. the equipment is just a handy and neater than (a pepsi bottle and blue tack)

2. component 2 should be added if not co2 will not produce.
3. try not to shake the solution
4. don't use an air stone. it will crumble after a while. Use either a diffuser or reactor.
finally, some practical answers
Thanks!
