Re: International Aquatic Plant Layout Contest (IAPLC) 2010

Some tips. I am not sure how many judges are there. But I do know individual judges go out to catch certain errors. For example, Amano san dislike substrate that is not even/flat at the foreground. It will be good to know who has pet peeve

The trick to scoring high position is to minimise points deduction. Those stubborn ones will never win, of course. This is just like a driving test. A person might be a good driver, if he don't follow the law, he fail.

Another, you will almost certainly fail if you strike kerb during driving test. Likewise, you will rank very low if you decide to leave your thermometer in the tank

    Good luck,

Look like this year's participants will topple last year 1342 entries from the ID that I received after registering yesterday morning. If the ID is running on sequential order, I got an over 2000 confirmation number, so there should be over 2000 entries this year.

    Go Singapore!
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

I must applaud ADA Singapore. The guys did a marvellous job in creating awareness and getting people to take part. Superb. I have a feeling that a person will get top 20.
