    I am a newbie and i am planing to go for a planted aquarium, the trick is i want to put my goldfish in there? i know they nibble all the time and is not a good idea but if i plant lots of moss and different plant. will it be ok?

    Welcome to the forum. As you see, planted setup needs "CO2" as a nutrient to strive, may be you need bigger tank for your goldfish, ie, 4ft. To make it just like goldfish at the natural habitat, with some flaura and others fauna.
    Water quality is important factor to control also, because goldfish excreted alot of waste, but you can try it.
    It is nice to see a planted setup with goldfish...

    Welcome to the forum. Goldfishes are notorious for nibbling on plants but I suppose you could try some of the harder-leaved plants like the anubias species, or Java ferns.
