Urm.. Isn't there a 100ml restriction on liquid volume on flights? Not possible to hand carry i think.
You cannot hand carry fish or shrimp up the aircraft presently, due to airline limitations on carry on of Liquids, Aerosols and Gels.
You'll need to figure out a way to pack them into your luggage. a Cooler like a Coleman water bottle or thermos flask would be one option. Or you can buy the shrimp right before you fly and have the LFS there pack them into styrofoam boxes for you.
I like to use Kordon Breather bags, and pack them in styrofoam or cardboard boxes myself. Also depending on time of year you might want to use heat packs or cooling pads.
it is not advisable to hand-carry in at airport
here the link from AVA if u want to check-in
http://www.ava.gov.sg/InformationFor...Fish/index.htm
Assuming of course you are not carrying prohibited, threatened, endangered or dangerous species into Singapore.
Best to avoid species on CITES lists, too troublesome to arrange self-carry of small quantities.
I've never had problems with the AVA Personal use policy of:
"30 pieces packed in not more than 3 litres of water per person per trip, subject to a maximum of 60 pieces in not more than 6 litres of water per car (2 or more persons in the car)"
Hi toysnake,

As for taipei, go to Ming Chuan East Road Section 5. Tell the cab driver you want to go to the Aquarium Street. Lots of aquarium there. Got bus but no mrt to that place, take taxi better! I use to live there!
Anyone knows if Scoot allows pet fish to be checked in? Off to Taipei later this month. Thanks.
