There's no fin rot or white spot or any obvious perasites glowing but it appear very weak. It has been in the tank for about 4 months & it was very lively before but recently it seems to hide away in isolation but still got a bit of appetite but really slow moving & stays on top of the water most of the time gasping for air but all other fishes seems normal? I notice its getting thinner as well, it does eats but slow. It's been having behaviour like that for a couple of weeks already, I thought it will recover over time. Its only about 4 inches long so it can't be too old? What's wrong with it?

Hi, seems like your angelfish got some internal bacteria that is causing it to lose its appetite. This is sometimes common in angelfishes. I do get one or two occasionally behaving like this. Not sure if a medication can cure them.

Sometimes they will become well again...but sometimes, they just dont eat for 1 to 2 weeks and they will just waste away and die.

try to use miracle baby MQ4 and MQ5.
they work rather well with internal bacteria.

Should be able to get from C328.
I gotten mine from Petmart in Serangoon north.
You can dose into the tank unless your tank is planted.
Need to have a series of water change regime.

if the forehead is skinny, mostly is internal disease, if is early stages still can be cure.

is good and easy to treat sick fish in empty tank.
