I am thinking of setting a 1.5 feet tank in my bedroom.

problem is that, my aircon is only on at nite and in the day the temp can hit about 30C..

so i am wondering what are the effects on plants and fishes when the temp flctuates from around 22-30C within a day...

    Thanks!

I am not sure about the prolong effect of big temperature fluctuations on plant and fish. Maybe you can install a simple DC fan on the tank during the day to keep it cool?

... or a heater set at 26°C. It will minimize the swing to 26~30°C which I feel should be ok for most fishes.

let you fan run after 2-3 hours after the aircon turn off and still running for 30mins-1 hour when your aircon is on. Should works nicely.
