    Hi guys!
Just some info on my 2ft tank. 60cm(l)x30cmx30cm(h)approx 54L
    One 36WPL light.
    Resun Internal filter
    6cm thick substrate with gravel.
Mainly riccia lawn(just replanted) and some Java moss on drift woods.
C02 via diffuser at 2 bubbles per second.
    Light exposure 10hrs a day.
Temp max 29 degrees C with chiller fans.
I just revamped my tank yesterday, water is slightly cloudy, plan to change water 1/4 tank more frequent these few days and let it run. However, i am concern about algae boom. Should i let in some OTO/ SAE first or let the riccia grow more before adding them as i read they tend to feast on ricccia buds.

How long should i wait before the other fishes can be added?

most likely, cloudiness in your case is cause by the disturbance of the gravel and unlikely leeching of base fertilizer.. adding of fishes need to be careful, especially for smaller tanks.. u can add in the algae eaters but don't feed them.. then about 1-2 week, gradually add a few fishes

Otos won't feast on the the riccia.

Your tank should be re-cycling again. You can add a few otos and then give the plants a week or two to re-establish their roots. Make sure you give them all they need to grow healthy... i.e. CO2, lights, fertiliser (can wait a week or two before you start fert). Introduce fishes slowly, a few a week.

If your filter media is mature and the bacteria didn't die off during the revamp, then you can add more fishes sooner.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
