Hi all, anyone know any possible cause of shrimps death? I have bought a total of 15 shrimps (malayan and yamato) but they have slowly died in a matter of 3 weeks. Only 3 left.... the other inhabitants are 20 cardinals, 10 glow lites. C02 looks okie (inverted bell indicator), the other measurements I do not have the test kits yet. I have been changing the water quite regularly. There were some deaths among the fishes initally but it seems to have affected the shrimps much more...

New tank? Look out for ammonia or NO2 spikes which is probably the cause...pH and KH are better for setting CO2 level provided no other non-carbonate buffers are introduced.
