    hi guys,
    Currently have a 4 x1.5 x1.5 tank with 4x30w fl lights,the question is issit enough?
    My riccia seems to be growing well but no bubbles leh.Co2 is enough cos using Co2 tank system.Lights are on 10hrs a day.

    just do the sum, u got 68.88USG with 120watts, which gives you around 1.75watts per gal.

    rough rule of thumb is low light plants below 2.5 watts per gal
    high light plants will be above 3watts per gal

    If I would to change to pl light tubes from fl will it be troublesome?

    elmo.....you need a minimum of 6x30watts...what is also critical is the intensity of the light which deteriorates over time....
