help on air lock

currently using external canister FLUVAL 404 but always after filter change or power off it is VERY DIFFICULT to get it running again MOSTLY likely AIR LOCK

anybody can share experiences how to get rid of the air lock (existing also have primer but seems not to be working???)

When air lock, I will connect the water hand pump (those water changing pump sell in LFS) to the inlet hose of the canister filter and breed from there.
Stop when u see water glushing from the outlet.

That is how is breed the filter, anyone have a easiler method?

btw i have also try to pump water into the inlet then on the external filter but also cannot will will ytry yr method

I didn't know I could breed my filters. Is this how Eheim makes more filters in a filter farm?

I think you mean "bleed"... like when you get a cut and your blood bleeds out. And it's "gushing" and "easier" without the "l"s. The l key on your keyboard got stuck?
