Hi Kadios
Economic rate is a very subjective amount and it depends from person to person. If you want a good pair of sissors that will last and have the metal tensity to cutt very thick stems, get the curved sissors from JBL.

Hey guys! Thanks for the answers. Actually, years ago, I went to this "crowntail"(can't remember the name), supposedly the forerunner of planted aquarium business in S'pore and saw their set of trimming tools, treezers etc. Their scissor was slim and bent at the end, making trimmings precise. However, u had to purchase the whole set of tools, all packaged grandly, for a cool $250+. So rite now, I'm lookin for the scissor but juz can't seem to find any of close resemblance.
Cheers!
ADA has a whole range of scissors... one or more of them matches your description. However, IMO, no need to get the bent tips.
Anyway, I think it's Crowntol.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
The lfs @ lor ah soo have that type of scissors. Btw the jbl type too fat at the tip and heavy too.----------------

Anyone has any idea to get the above scissors @ economical rate? Thanks!
Cheers!

those slim curve scissor doesnt give a clean cut after a while. I still prefer the one JBL has, heavier but the cut is clean and stays sharp
Hey eveyone!
Thanks for all the useful feedback. Guess I should juz settle with my current scissors and instead of spending unnecessarily on "extravagrant" stuff, spend it on fertilizers or livestock!
Cheers!
