one of the uncles at my workplace recommended me to keep some fishes called kim tiao or goldbar in hokkien.
does anyone knows the actual name of these fishes? tried to google for it and closest result was for golden arowanas.
the gold bar i'm referring to cost 50c~80c in LFS. tryying to find info on them as i intend to mix them with tetras and guppies in a 2ft tank

Yes, I confirm saw the fish at Seaview, but I cannot remember the name. You can call them up to ask about it, they write gold bar on the tank.

Yes, Kim Teow is refering to Golden Barbs. Very pretty fish, pity it doesn't get much attention.
