    Hi Guys!
I am starting a planted tank soon but am looking for rare fishes.
More specifically, I am looking for licorice gouramis (Parosphromenus Harveyi), Ctenopoma ansorgii, Purple Pencilfish, Tiger Oto, Crystal Red Shrimpetc etc.
I know Choong Sua at beauty world has got some rare fishes, but is there anymore places where I can find these fishes?
    Thanks!

Biotope has various rare licorice gouramies, new shipment coming in tomorrow. call before going down, he opens rather late, after 1200. Also many rarer southeast Asian cyprinids (barbs, rasbora, etc).

I would suggest you not mix fishes around from very different region, kind of odd once you know more about their origins and start considering their natural environment. I mean you will not find rasbora swimming in the stream with tetra.

    OK,
Here's what I intend to do.
I intend to put Badis Badis, Crystal Red Shrimps, Rocket shrimp, Bee Shrimp, Licorice Gouramis, and otcinclus.
Please tell me is this is ok.
    Thanks!

not bad I guess, be aware than Badis badis may require live food and is a predator so may go after any shrimp fries should you have any. Similarly licorice gourami has got very small mouths so either your tank has the capacity to produce infusoria (micro-organisms) or you need to feed baby brine shrimps and daphnia.

I would recommend staying away from boisterous barbs and rasboras as these dash for food and are insatiable so your badis and gouramies will possibly starve. If you want some peaceful non-predators try the Boraras group.
