nope. you'll have to wait till your lotus grows a plantlet.
then you'll need to separate them when the plantlet is big enough.

4 colour lotus seems very eager... mine seems to be sprouting leaflets on every other mature leaves...

The Red Lotus BCLee gave me, however doesn't seem to be interested in reproduction... this Deep purple/red lotus is very beautiful!

Yeah, the 4-colour (N. micrantha) is quite prolific in my tank too when the conditions are good. My tiger lotuses (N. lotus) have produced plantlets before but quite seldom.

By the way, some will be wondering... N. lotus does not produce plantlets on its leaves. Instead they grow a runner under the substrate which surfaces a few inches away and grows into a small plant. Sometimes they grow out right next to the parent and you wouldn't realise there's a new plant there.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    Hi,

If your lotus is 4 colour lotus, yes it (the leaves) can be "planted" even if you don't see any plantlets now.

    A rough Sketch
