kh & ph reading

test the water just now and found that my Kh is unusually high at 9 while the pH remains at 6.5.
past reading kH was at 7 and pH 6.5.

any effect for having high kH reading?

Do you happened to have added any new tank deco in like rocks, corals( chips) or fossil wood? Usually such deco may contain lime and will increase KH, especially corals and coral chips.

If your Current KH is 9 best to let your PH go up to about 6.9 or neutral....if your fish are not showing any sign of stress and if your preference is to have high CO2 concentration than leave it alone and do monitor you KH and PH level.
