How to kick start glosso tank

hi, i m new to planted tank. i juz tried out growing glosso n faced some problems, pls enlighten

tank 2ft
lites 55w
co2 1b/sec
ph 6.9

used mixed nitrate water wit fresh water 1:3
only anti chlorine used
internal filter @ 200l/hr tuned down to prevent uprooting
fishless


now day 2

plants look green, however still not photosysthesis, wat is wrong?

is it tat the glosso haven recover frm shock period?
or is it something wrong?

pls enlighten.

austin, what you mean by not photosynthesis? If not, it would be dead.[] Test your KH and let us know. What CO2 mixer you using?

Hi austin,
just relax it's only the 2nd day the plant need time to get used to the water condition and it seem that your co2 is kinda low increase to 2bps would be fine. Take it easy and your plant will grow.

don't worry, if Glosso is green then OK... UNlike my 14' tank with 11W light. Some of them are turning brown. That I can be sure that they are not photosynthesising... Some of it are grown tall instead of spreading...

Concluding, light no enough!
