Most plants don't take bleaching very well except for anubias...Why not rub off those algae with your fingers or trim off the leaves being affected? Don't worry, it will grow back if you give what the plants need for growth.

maybe you would like to try Potassium Permangnate, available from pharmacies as a disinfectant. Not sure how effective it is in removing algaes, but i always disinfect (kill all pathogens and snails) my plants using it before planting them.
I usually give my plants a short (10-15min) bath in a weak solution using "Green Algae Control" (brand = King British). Works well for rhizomes and tubers with a green (algae) coating but I don't think it will work for tougher 1s like staghorn and BBA.
Bought the product to get rid of green algae on my driftwood previously. Worked well but too lazy to continue using it - It's too much of a hassle to take out the wood, brush troubled spots with the chemical, rinse the wood with water before placing it back into the tank. Too bad, my shrimps seems to enjoy the dying patches of algae everytime I do it. [:]
