    heard soe people say that they r useful......

    i heard somewhere that they do eat algae, but they are harmful to other shrimps, maybe u could do a search here or arofanatics.

    i tried it before. a few bigger ones would attack and eat my neon tetras.

    They are good scavengers.Any food not eaten by the fish will be eaten by them.But beware!My bee shrimps fall prey to this "feeder" shrimp.

    yup, they attached my h.rasbora & tetra.in the end, took them out of the tank.causing more harm than usefulness.

    I used them in my tanks for snail control.

    1) They are scavengers and so lower the snail population if there are no excess food lying around.
    2) They eat snails on occasion.

    The bigger shrimps with big pincers may catch your tetras for a meal. So I used the smaller ones.

    Argh, they eat up my tetras and amanos and malayans. I only put in about 5 and everything else gone. Not worth the risk. Interestingly, they eat almost everything but notice that they didn't touch the smear algae.

    yep..... i heard that they willl not eat algue at all......

    but they r a good "tester" for your tank.... befotre u put in those more ex shrips....

    but i had seen my freiend planted.... 6 ft..... with alot of feeder shrimps.... bee and tiger.... hmmmm dont know how come..... those bee and tiger didnt get eat up....
