Bleach the diffuser and then wash off with lots of dechlorinator...if the smell of bleach is still there after washing... wash more!!! [] ..After that, you can safely place it back into the tank.

ya! bleach and bleach until u r happy wit it than de-chlo....than smell it.....smells good??? ok. anyway the guys had mention it in e previous tread. go search for it and smell it.

Does any know what causes white fluffy stuff to grow on the diffuser? Could it be the baking powder that I added to the tank?
