bro,
Did you overfeed it?
Hi! I just bought a pair of Australe Killifish 2 days ago... However when i wake up this morning, i found out that the female killifish is acting weird. Her mouth is constantly moving as if shes eating or sometimes gasping for air. Then i also realise her stomach is bulging like a transparent layer. Is there something wrong with her? Ive attached a picture.

Yup they are quite hardy and don't really require a lot of attention..
You just have to take note if your female keeps attacking your male will results in death in long terms..

Oh they always swim in pairs and hide in crevices. Will be trying to breed them soon once they settle down. Hopefully it works! Fingers Crossed.

Lucky guy, you got a peaceful pair..
So you're keeping them in a cube tank? Any plants or soil as base?
Cheers,

I'm keeping them in a 1.5Ft tank with GEX soil as substrate. Coupled with some windelov and java ferns arranged with driftwoods and some moss to fill up the gaps. heard killies love moss. But its not densely planted because i wont have time to trim the flora once school starts heh :P
Cheers!
