eh....now the bubbles are also observed from my glosso...how come?
Hi,
It's been 3 months since I started planted. Everything is going great. Some plants grew better than others, some fish survived better than others too. I think my tank has stablised now. No algae proliferation so far and everything seems fine.
However, today I noticed little bubbles forming from the leaves of one of my plants. Is this the oxygen created from photosynthesis? What does it mean? Any concern?
Thanks.

Perfectly normal... its oxygen from photosynthesis.

you should be glad that is happening. Some people can't wait for that to happen
i always fighting algae but still got more
oh ok...so it's a good thing. hmmm...never seen this happen before. thanks.
many people when they first start planted tank, think that getting bubbles or 'pearling' is planted tank nirvana... but the feeling only lasts for a while , once bubbling is achieved, other things come into the picture in their relentless pursuit of planted tank perfection
Personally, I don't like too much bubbling. I prefer to see pearling.
Bubbling = streams of bubbles floating up.
Pearling = bubbles forming and staying on or under the leaves.
BTW, bubbling/pearling does not mean the tank is in good condition. You can have an algae infested tank with both plants and algae pearling.
