Infraction

Can someone advise how does infraction works? I've had infraction for something I done quite a while ago. What does it actually means? And when will it be reset?

Infractions are like demerit points. Once you accumulate 15 points and above, your posts will be moderated automatically. 100 points and above gets you an immediate ban.

Some infractions like using SMS Lingo only incur a few points which will expire after some time. Some infractions that we view very seriously, like Sexist postings (for which you incurred the 8 points) incur more points, do not expire and will remain on your account permanently.

They serve as a way for the staff to co-ordinate and make sure we do not under- or over-penalise errant members. This also allows to have a finer scale of penalties, instead of just ban and suspend.

hehe maybe you can try using "sms" words and you get some..
And also missing post too..
But don't be silly to do it for no reasons..
I got mine when I'm very new to the forum few years back then so silly of not knowing what's infraction is?
