What's your tank temparature? TM is quite critical in water temparature, it require 24C to 26C to maintain tip-top condition. Anyway, suitable lighting intensity, duration, fertilizer and CO2 should also be considered.

Alfa is right. To achieve that kind of temp range, u need a chiller. If u can't grow taiwan moss, try java moss.

i think you guys should get Java moss if you don't have any chiller. Xmas moss need very cold temperature to live, around 25C. Hmmmm.... is this another reason why they call it the Xmas moss?[]
But i will still agree Xmas moss look better than Java moss.[]

My tank temperature is about 27C. Lighting is 72W for 80L tank, CO2 injection @ 2bps, regular fertilization......Wonder why it is not growing?

    hi willam

if you have bought your TW moss from Chan of Nature, chances likely is that your moss should be able to take higher temperature....he has a tank that is outside his shop with sunlight, no chiller and its doing fine.

    Do you fertilise your water?...

I'm also trying TM in my new tank. So far the temperature is kept between 26 to 28. Only planted it for a few days, hope it will turn out to be fine.
