Hi, just FYI. Bought a new 2213 for $75 at TP69. Dunno if it can be considered a bargain but I think this price is much lower than at many other lfs.

    Cheers.

Anyone interested in checking out prices for any products can try to call Yap Woon Cheong or 'Yap' @96361838. He is the 'boss' of the lfs named Florist... at TP69. If the shop doesn't have the item, can even ask him to order for you.

    Cheers.

    Hi,

Just made a trip down last Sat and got the following:

    2Feet OceanFree tank-$19
    OceanFree overhead filter-$18
    Aquaone shrimps(75g)-$12
    RidAll antichlorine-$2
    Beefheart-$5

Cheap IMO cos A1 selling at 14-16 from most of the LFS and the tank will sell at abt $25. Worth the trip.

Kel, those standard 2 fts you see everywhere will be sufficient for freshwater.

yeah 18$ is a good price. you can check it out.

    Hi BT:

2213 for $75 sounds cheap. Does it comes with the basket for filter media and also the pair of flow control connectors?

    Hi Juggler,
yes, the basket of filter media is provided but no, you don't have the flow control valves.

The flow control valve is useful for you to control the water flow. Also, during washing of filter, you just disconnect at the valve without water spillage.

a set of the valves itself for both in and out will cost total of abt 45 if i am not wrong..

i didnt know they are used as flow control purpose too...not sure if it is meant for the purpose too.

as far as i know, they are just used when you want to disconnect the canister..so there is only "on" and "off" and no in-betweens.
