Aeration would force the excess CO2 to escape and hence an increase in pH until equilibrium CO2 level is reached. What injection are you talking about? CO2? No, you don't inject CO2 when doing a blackout to hurt algae..just aerate the tank to provide O2 for the inhibitants. What type of algae are you battling against? Note that not all algae gets hurt with a blackout..BBA is a toughy and needs to be remove manually..blackout has no visible effect against it. Adequate CO2 would slow it down...you would still need to remove as much as you can and perharps add SAEs to clean up the rest.
