My tank has been setup for about 1.5 month after shifting house. So far my maintenance done was water change once (yesterday) as I was away on business trip. BGA was everywhere before I gave it a good siphoning. Surprisingly, plants are doing well with just base fert.

    Tank Parameters:
    Dimension - 4ft X 2ft X 2ft
    Filter - Eheim 2028
Temp - 30 deg (chiller konked)
    Light - 2 X 150W MH (8 hours)
    CO2 - 2 bps
pH & kH - not tested (seriously no time)

    Any comments welcomed.
    Cheers!!

How did you manage to get your tank establise in just 1.5months? From the pic, all your plants seem to be spreading and growing very fast.

Looking good... how are your altums?
Are your Lobelia from your previous tank or newly added? Looks well grown.

    Chua,
How did i get it stabilize...... well, I seriously did not do anything special. Juz the standard cycling procedure. Actually, I was quite suprise myself how the plants rooted and took off. Most of my crypts melted initially but came back to life again. Other than that plants grew nicely.

    Juggler,
My Lobelia from my previous setup dissapeared (melted) during storage. Those im my tank now are fresh from Teo.
    Cheers!!

nice one sherwin, i like the 'lobang' in the center, look like a cave.

Is the foreground marsilea? See that the lobelia is growing well. And where are the lot of brown crypts you bought recently?

    Thanks Roland,

The foreground plant is Masilea, very observant of you although the pic is not that clear. The Crypt wendtii 'Brown' is now under the shaded area to fill up the 'cave'. Can't really see in the pic as it's not grown yet.
    Cheers!!

what about the left side, its a little bare at the edge. Or was it done on purpose?

The marsilea is damn slow in my tank.. yours is 1.5mth old?

You have cardinals and apisto now? Cardinals seems a bit small in population.

    Lorba,
I'm still waiting for the Red Tiger Lotus to grow (left side). It's still kinda small and believe me it will grow big. I'm also hoping for the Echin 'Marble Queen' to grow emerse, now it looks quite ugly in that condition.

Will do some trimming once I find the time this weekend. Some of the plants are overgrown.
    Cheers!!
