A cheaper alternative is mini fan from the superstore such as Giant, Carrefour and etc. But be careful the fan drop into the tank or when you have kids running around.

o i bought a 7" fan...then realised cannot put the fan in the center of the tank. Only can put at the side of the tank...
temperature didnt drop as much as i expected...think only 1deg drop
previously using a square type of fan achieve 28+ deg....and now with the 7"fan also 28+deg ..aiyo
Hi, for larger tanks, there wont be much a temperature drop, lucky if it goes down by 2 deg. It also largely depends on your room temperature.
Can get a computer fan from sim lim cheap cheap too
Sounds like a case of high ambient temperature. My smallish, slightly whiny Dymax hang on side fan (blowing across width of tank), brought my tank's temperature down by an average of 3 degrees. Temperature now between 25 to 27 (sometimes but rarely go higher than 2. My tank is 125 litres, far from direct sunlight and smack in the middle of a breeze going from kitchen windows to living room windows.
I suugest finding ways to lower room's ambient temperature and improve room's ventilation. For safety sake, go for the DC type.
