Quite impressive for your first try. But you have to be careful of plants like the Sagi on the left and the Vals on the right. These 2 plants send out runners very quickly thus taking over the whole tank. For a small tank like yours, more stem plants would be more desirable. Other than that, I feel that you've put in a good effort.

A suggestion if you dun mind, the hairgrass could be removed and replanted again. This time plant smaller bunches and more spread out.
    Cheers!!

    A very good attempt.....

I think its a good idea to move the val behind the riccia thingy....vals will grow tall covering the riccia. Move the bal. behind the umbrella plant.

    Thanks,
Actually it was quite a mess when I try to plant without prior knowledge.

Because many plant for sale are actually cultivated above water and many times are very deceiving.

Like the Sagi, it was presented as dwarft and mini. Until I planted them infront, the true sagi appear in 2 weeks.

The Vals and Sagi, there is no plant book that describe its growth rate.... until I realises it myself...shoot out runners like crazy.

As for the hair grass, I actually plant according to my imagination. I didn't know how it should look.

As for stem plant, very fast grower also, like the Bacopa.
Got to cut every other week, problem is to re-insert the stem...small tank...very difficult to manour.

    David and Sherwin.
Thanks for your advise, I actually plan to remove the fast grower. Sagi and Vals.

BTW, the riccia was a 'force in', growing ontop of a drift wood, just like to see some bubble.
