    Hi All,

Realized that all threads on red cabomba are rather ancient and I cannot seemed to find any at the LFS.
Considering that its a fussy plant compared to the green version, it appears to have been abandoned?
Anyone know where I can get some?
    Thanks

Cabomba juscata is not that difficult to keep in an aquarium if you can keep up with its light and nutrient requirements. Note that it prefers softer water, besides its basic requirements.

The green cabomba is the one that truely grows like fire. The red version is not as fast as its light fussy. Of course, given the right lightings, it'll probably grow like its green cousin.
This plant is excellent for soaking up nitrate and looks attractive, although its very aggressive in spreading its runners under the soil and will invade the rest of the tank if not keep in check.
