currently i am using ada soil. I have another tank using the same soil but have not met with the same problem. Now the tank's PH is around 5.
Sorry for the confusion my high PH = high acidity.
no wonder i find it so weird, use ADA pH level still high. try to add some coral chips.

yes, add coral chips will help.
but them in a fine netting so you can easily scoop out if PH raise to desirable level.
for me, I initially put 2 bags, PH goes from 6.2 slowly to 6.8/6.9, then I took out 1 bag, now PH is about 6.6/6.7
Will this happen even after water change ??? Or will happen after a period after water change....???
Best is either coral chip or peat....
coral chip will be a long time prevention![]()

how old is the setup? normally with ADA Aquasoil the pH very low during initial setup bit after say 3 weeks it should be around 6.2
