Height

When we decided to buy a particular type of plant, we always consider a lot of factors. One of the factors is the height of the plant.

My question is that for stem plant, said the height is around 15cm. (stated in books, websites....) Does it mean that this will be the maximum height that this stem plant can reach even if all the conditions are satisfied. (lighting, nutrients....) Is it possible that this stem plant can reach other height as well. said doubled the height.

The statistics should be used as a guide. I am sure there are instances that the conditions are so optimal that it grows beyond what the textbook says.
You should also look at the growth rate too.
