Where have all the little crabs gone?

Hi fellars, just set up a paluarium and was looking to stock it with some vampire or fiddler crabs....
However, after many days of searching (I looked everywhere...from Qian Hu to mainland to OTF to Jln Kayu to Clementi to Aqua Zone at Yishun to Serangoon ..) I came up empty and at best they had only a few hermit,red claw & rainbow crabs left .

Most shops said that these crabs were out of season and that the AVA recently imposed a new ruling on the importing on crabs which required a expensive certificate to bring them in...

Is this true? Are looking at the end of mini crabs available in Singapore? Or does anyone know where I can get some vampire/fiddler crabs?

So sorry to hear that crabs are getting more difficult to acquire in Singapore due to AVA 's strict regulation...sighs!!!!!

I wanted more exotic pets like beard dragon, red eye tree frog and even geckos for my monster palu, but I have to resign to Singapore's strict rules, unless I migrant or cross the Causeway and stay there for good, nothing going to stop me !!
